Eleonora Maria Belenghi is a consultant within the Risk Advisory – Climate and Sustainability Team where she focuses on the ecological transition of insurers, banks, and asset managers. She has extensive knowledge on the related regulation and due diligence practices.
She holds a double MSc in Sustainable Development Economics and Geomatics from Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and ENSG (École nationale des sciences géographiques). In addition, she has successfully completed a certification in Financial Accounting from Harvard Business School. Furthermore, she has undergone training by the UN on the 2030 Agenda.
She joined Deloitte in June 2023 and since she has been focused on reviewing ECA’s ESG procedures, as well as auditing banks and asset managers’ ESG compliance frameworks. Prior, she worked as an ESG analyst for a French asset manager. She was responsible for the extra-financial breakdown of the portfolios ‘securities as well as the SFDR compliance of the funds and the CSR of the firm. Previously, she collaborated with a PE investor to design and test a tool to carry out flash ESG analysis consistent with the European Taxonomy.
She actively participates to The Shift Project, she is a Climate and Sustainable Mobility Fresk facilitator, and she contributed to the LSFI ESG Data working group.
