Alessandro Grasso is manager with the lead in Earth Observation at the Luxembourg Space Agency. He represents Luxembourg as delegate to both the ESA Programme Board on Earth Observation and the European Commission’s Copernicus Space Programme Committee. He also serves as Chair of the European Space Agency’s DOSTAG, the technical and scientific advisory board for Earth Observation missions.
An aerospace engineer by background, Alessandro spent over a decade in the space industry before taking on his current position, working for NASA, OHB System in Germany, and Airbus Defence and Space in the UK. During this time, he held roles as systems engineer and project manager for major European and international space programmes.
