Dr. Emmeline Cooper, Founder and Director of Voice & Insight Advisory, Visiting Lecturer Cranfield University, is a specialist in member voice in pensions governance, building on decades of experience in citizen engagement in policy making, and academic research on pensions governance. Working with Nest pensions and Royal London, UK, and Pensioenfonds Detailhandel, and PFZW, NL, she had advised, designed and implemented innovative Member Assemblies to inform Boards’ responsible and sustainable investment strategies. Her innovative projects have been recognised by industry (PensioenPro Responsible Investment category Award 2025) and at academic conferences (Global Research Alliance for Sustainable Finance, Best Paper Award 2026).

She is an experienced lecturer and trainer on sustainability in business and management, and sustainable finance, for Master, MBAs and Boards of financial institutions. Drawing on her academic research and practice, Emmeline regularly speaks at industry conferences on member voice and the democratisation of pension schemes.
