Lars Hilgert

Lars Hilgert is an Investment and Portfolio Manager at Spuerkeess Private Banking. He advises high-net-worth clients and develops tailor-made investment portfolios. He has a particular interest in sustainability, both personally and professionally, especially in the field of sustainable finance. During his four years at Spuerkeess, he has also supported the Global Credit Investment team within the bank’s trading room.

He holds an MSc in Quantitative Finance from the Vienna University of Economics and Business, where his thesis examined the impact of ESG scores on Sharpe ratios across markets, as well as a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of Luxembourg including an exchange semester at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. Outside of finance, Lars is a three-time Luxembourg national judo champion with a passion for photography.
