Miriam Machwitz

Miriam Machwitz is a Senior Researcher at the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST). She is an environmental scientist with a PhD in remote sensing, focusing on land cover change and its impacts on climate in West Africa. Her expertise lies in vegetation modelling, mapping, and monitoring. She has contributed to and led several research projects as Principal Investigator (PI), particularly in the fields of agriculture, viticulture, and natural vegetation management.
